LSU has a coach and Will Wade is not returning to LSU

UNC is too holier than thou for Nate Oats. Oats like to speak his mind. Plus he has an $18M buyout, which is the highest amongst their list of candidates. I think they try to go with the coach from Iowa State. He has a very low buyout.

I'd go for Florida's coach if I'm them, but I'd love them to steal Oats.

The fact that LSU still has a coach means zero.

Why?
Wade is a better coach
I want Oats to stay

Oats has made it to the Final 4. Wade can't make it to the Sweet 16.

Why would Oats leave, he has about the same success rate at Bama that Davis had at UNC who just got fired. He's basically worshiped and Bama can match anything UNC wants to pay.

Yea they are probably leaking Oats name and going after Golden ,that’s how this works.UNC probably doesn’t want anything to do with bamas trash coach.

Wade is still a better coach
And was on his way to having LSU as a consistent power
Until his administration blackballed him
Oats has the full support of Alabama administration behind him.

The funny thing about that is Oats owned Hubert Davis with a 3-0 record including a win on their home court.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Apparently Sean May is their number 1 choice. Absolutely insane. UNC could get 99% of college basketball coaches to coach there.

Well if that’s the case the UNC admin just like many others can’t get out of their own way.One of the ELITE programs in the country and they go on the cheap. In 4 yrs they will be doing the same.
