Can we move on Up
history nerds am I wrong to believe the Previous question (PQ) motion supported by Thomas Jefferson rule book KOs the whole concept of the filibuster
and it was Aaron Burr who junked the PQ motion from the senate in 1806. So currently, the senate GOPe is willing to let the dem party cause havoc by sitting on their asses and not pass anything even though they hold the majority

GOP would rather be in the minority then fight

Seems that Burr was a very busy man that year.

Republicans make more money when they are not in power, as they would be in a position to trade favors for votes that advance the Dem platform. It's really transparent

Accurate.
There, they can scream from the rooftops about all the things they'd do if only they were in control again and raise campaign funds, instead of actually being in the majority and pissing it away EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
99% of them are completely worthless and ineffectual.
