Said LSU is very talented. Have “two” girls who will be playing in the WNBA in a couple of months.
A) she doesn’t know Mikaylah is a junior
B) she feels/hears Mikaylah will go pro

Anyone hearing she is leaving?

No reason for her to leave. I would be shocked. I think the coach just misspoke. I would be disoriented too if I had just swallowed an epic beat down

Given no one at LSU has acted like she's leaving it's A.

She definitely isn’t as far as age requirement and unless she’s graduating by July , she’s not eligible:

She should leave. She has the opportunity to make 10’s of thousands of dollars in the wnba.

Age requirement is apparently 22 years old. Mikaylah Is 20. For some reason, apparently international players can enter at 20.

My understanding is that they’re both not eligible until 2027. Unless they’ve graduated.

Coach Mulkey just said within the last few days when talking about Flau'jae and how special it is for a talent like that to spend all 4 years at 1 school. She finished her statement off by saying Mikaylah should be the same next year unless something crazy happens. Id say that is a good sign that she'll be back.

Could mean Joyner as well. The WNBA expanded last year which will help some players like Amaya to have a shot.

For the WNBA draft, American players must be at least 22 years old during the calendar year of the draft, a college graduate, or four years removed from high school. International prospects must be at least 20 years old during the draft year. These rules are among the strictest in US pro sports.
