Underhill went crazy with this new upgrade.
“We have an interactive depth chart, the play designer, mock draft machine and a redesigned cap calculator with some new features.”

It's funny that Underhill keeps talking about trading or releasing Kamara and how the Saints used that 50% rule, but even on his site if you cut or trade Kamara now you lose a ton of cap (according to his site we'd be more than $4 mil over), because all the money except about $1.3 mil was guaranteed, and they used the rule to save that $1.3 mil in case he retires (which is the "decision" they keep talking about but haven't even figured out that simple thing yet).
Everyone talking about that rule assumed NONE of the converted money was guaranteed, but if you read the actual rule no ADDITIONAL money becomes guaranteed (like the $1.3 mil), but the rest is still guaranteed.
Further still, even if we wait until post June 1st, we save all of less than $400,000, so the trade compensation would have to be worth far more than anyone will actually give (another reason the trade rumors have been and are so fricking stupid).
Either he retires or he plays here. There is no other option.

Not saying it will but it’s very doable then

Doable. Yes. Likely at all. No.
We aren't trading Kamara for scraps to save less than $400k. A team would have to really step up with some compensation. Would a team even offer a 3rd? That would be the bare minimum I could even see them considering it for.
And then there is his own statements that he will retire if traded, which I don't see as an idle threat. I think he legit will just be done with football if he isn't playing here this season.

I expect him on the team.

The only thing I’ve seen Nick say about Kamara is that he plays here or retires. I don’t think he said anything about him being traded.

I've seen some episodes of their podcast on YouTube and they have said it a few times when he comes up. Recent episodes as in the last couple of weeks they have said it at least twice.

Not really

Yes really, even as of 2 days ago they brought up trading him if Kamara back tracks on his stance:
LINK
Around the 6 minute mark is where it starts to come up.
They are also wrong in that he cannot be asked to take a pay cut, because they already restructured his base down to vet minimum and there is nothing left to cut. We only save his base salary this year if he is cut ($1.3 mil) since that is the only portion remaining that is not guaranteed. Everything else he has is fully guaranteed and will not go away.
If cut or traded post June 1st he only saves $400k on this year's cap (but $1.3 mil cash).
Literally the only decision to be made here is him retiring or playing for the Saints (unless a team offers worthwhile pick(s) AND Kamara backtracks his stance, both very unlikely). Anyone saying or reading anything else into this (including Underhill and Trip) is not looking at the facts in front of them.
