There’s no coming back from that, tailor made double play and couldn’t manage a single out

We had 3 potential shortstops on the team last year. This year? We have 1.

He’s done something similar 3 times already as a defensive replacement

I don't really understand using him as a defensive sub. His chances and fielding percentage are similar to Reaves and Pearson, who are obviously not viewed as defensive subs. Dardar has a better fielding percentage in nearly 4 times the chances. We just don't have a defensive sub on the infield on the roster. If you just want to pop his cherry a bit, just say that and use him accordingly. He shouldn't be in when it's nut cutting time.

ETA: I like the kid's game and I think he's going to be a good Tiger. It's just too big for him in the situations that he's been put in right now. Pop his cherry another way.

It wasn't a hard play to make. That was the game right there.

Dardar may need to stay at 2nd and we just live with his errors every now and then. At least his bat has pop.

It was a left-handed batter. I personally don’t think he would’ve gotten two, but we would have gotten the lead runner at second for sure and that was the go ahead run.

Dardar is bad in the field and he is hitting .220.
