Flau’Jae Johnson’s last game in a Tiger uniform in the PMAC. It’s gonna be highly emotional for everyone, but especially the team & coaching staff. Hope they can calm their nerves & advance to Sacramento.

I was a little worried before today, but not any more. Texas Tech and Villanova looked like they were playing in mud compared to how fast and athletic our team is.

I did not watch TT-Nova, but 57-52. Low scoring game. I’m assuming as much offensive ineptitude as defensive prowess.

You would be correct. TT has now scored below 60 points in 4 straight games. They have a guard who is pretty good, but nothing else stood out.
It was played at a fairly slow pace just because it seemed like neither team had particularly good athletes. The two teams combined to take just 95 FGA. By comparison, there were 134 in the LSU game. After seeing LSU play, that game looked like they were playing in slow motion.

Yeah you don’t like to criticize a 50-plus point win over a 15 seed, but we allowed Jacksonville too many easy drives right up the lane to the basket. Now Jville couldn’t capitalize most of the time but that’s got to be cleaned up for the likely showdown vs UCLA, or the Bruins will make life very hard for us.

“Coach’s decision” according to Kim. She will play vs Texas Tech. She was obviously in Kim’s doghouse about something.
