Every time I see a Bill Cassidy TV commercial, it reminds me what a weasel he is ….

and motivates me even more to do anything I can to get him out of office.
That his coattail commercial states:
“Trump & Cassidy” is infuriating.
YOU VOTED TO IMPEACH HIM.
F’n own it, you weasel.

Honestly this is kind of an insult to weasels.

We had a flyer from him in the Mail today. Didn’t read it but saw pictures of he and PDJT. Tore it up walking back down the driveway. Would be great if Letlow and Fleming get runoff and this clown GTFO of our state.

I 100% agree with everyone that believes Cassidy deserves to be FIRED for not voting our states values, and not backing Trump when he voted for impeachment. I want his arse gone.
The dilemma seems to be that Letlow has Trumps endorsement, but doesn't seem all that popular, while Flemming doesn't seem strong enough take this on his own. If the Cassidy haters split the vote, this SOB can do what he does best, and weasel his way to another term.
How do we prevent this from happening when we all have the same exact goal?
Personally, I would prefer Flemming. In my life experience, I don't trust people that are easily influenced by their emotions and the gravitational lure of grift in these positions...... but I would be willing to hold my nose and vote for Letlow, if it means we take Cassidy down.
What is the consensus?

Admittedly I don’t care about the irrelevant impeachment deal since that was never ever going to result in removal. Nor do I GAF about Cassidy.
But I do find it hilarious that there are people who think there will be any material difference in how Fleming or Letlow would vote on substantive legislative matters.

My Mom asked me who to vote for a couple of days ago. I told her that I liked Letlow, she said that she had been thinking about Fleming. She then said that she wished her deceased husband was still around, because he would know who to vote for.
My youngest daughter was like that for years. She would ask me who to vote for and I would write her a list of buttons to push once she got in the booth.
She moved off to Colorado and almost immediately became a liberal. She’s always been a bit of a follower.
We love each other and simply choose not to discuss politics. Still get along great.
My older daughter went to Tulane 15 years ago and has basically never left New Orleans since then She went far left and insists on forcing her ideas into every conversation.
We rarely speak.

We have closed primaries in federal elections. This scenario is not possible. Cassidy has zero support besides donors who are receiving federal kickbacks. All signs point to him being dumped in the primary. Haven’t talked to one person who will vote for him but a majority who want to go vote against him

He is also running the Liberal Letlow stock trade commercials about 10:1 to anything about himself…

Based on his track record as a “republican’ don’t see any reason, whatsoever, why any republican should vote for him.

I'm with you on that one! His commercial is cringe-worthy...riding on the back of the president who he voted with the DemoRats to impeach him. I don't just hope he loses the race, I hope he is embarrassed with the small amount of votes he will get.

I would bet my house he takes money for votes. His voting record alone is enough to disgrace him. But he also has the impeachment and that horrible gumbo recipe.

I also want him gone for his covid/vax stance.
