Thankless job. Wish him happiness and a good retirement.

Bovino and Noem no longer in their positions 2 months after the Minnesota shooting
I wonder if that's a coincidence

Maybe Bovino doesn’t want to be a part of the administration’s shift against mass deportation?

Possibly, or typical politics got into play and Bovino was the easiest one to remove for "optics" or whatever BS justifications those in power need to make their decisions

Honestly ... he did a great job. He was the sledge hammer we needed for the first year.
But optics are important in politics.
... and the coat didn't help.
May he live a long, happy, peaceful life as a pundit, in retirement.
He's a great American.

He's earned his opportunity to take it a little easier. Especially with all these woke-joke fools acting like deporting ILLEGAL ALIENS is an horrendous thing to do.

Shh.
Trump-can-do-no-wrong Zealots on here are trying to pretend this isn't happening.
They are trying to pretend Markwayne Mullin is a badass conservative who is gonna deport people.
They are trying to pretend that we aren't at war with Iran.
They are trying to pretend that yes we are at war, but it's not because Israel hoodwinked the President.
They are trying to pretend immigration has stopped completely while ignoring the fact that legal immigration is higher than ever.
Shh...

No one thinks immigration has stopped completely. You are making that up.
A simple search will reveal:
Migration into the US fell by over 50% in 2025 to 1.3m. 2026 is projected to fall another 75% to 320k.
Visas paused for 75 additional countries.
Refugees capped at 7500. 105k admitted in 2024.
H1b applications down 27%. Number issued still capped at 85k since 2005.
Green cards down 10-20% in 2025.
100k visas revoked. TPS canceled for 1.5m.
Foreign born population is falling.
The only place legal immigration is increasing is in your mind.
It's sad how many so-called conservatives need to lie just so they can bitch about something.

I liked his no-nonsense approach to a major problem.
Sad to see him go - Hope he left on good terms, his own decision, not pushed.
