Can't Buy Tickets outside The Box?

So I heard that you can't buy/sell tickets right outside the stadium like you could at the old box. Is this true? If so, where can you?

A lot of fans broke that rule yesterday.

I dont understand this rule.
It is baseball.. there will probably always be tickets for sale last minute, since they do not cost that much and demand is really not that high outside the stadium is the most logical place to sell the tickets.. it is not like "scalping" is really ever a factor at baseball.. why are thy just doing this for baseball, you still have all the ticket sellers in front of the PMAC.

If you read the back of any ticket, LSU doesn't want anyone selling around the venues. But in this instance, they have a 40 million dollar stadium to pay for and I guess they don't want competition close to their ticket office.

As long as you don't buy/sell rite by the ticket window they were not enforcing it all wkend. They did have LSU cops on bikes checking ID's at tailgating along Nicholson.

Some of these rules may have to do with the woman that we affectionately call the "Ticket Bitch" and the guys on bikes who buy and sell tickets to the bigger games. Last year they were scalping tickets right outside the Box, were suspected of stealing some tickets, and were busted for photocopying and selling the "passes" that were used to allow people to leave and reenter the ballpark (not hearsay, we saw it go down). This year, you have to get your ticket scanned before you leave and rescanned to come back in . We're lucky that they didn't simply take the "No Reentry" approach that they have with football.

But they make the real money off season ticket sales and concessions... not off individual game sales.. that is why Alleva sent the notice out to all the basketball ticket holders to basically give away the ticket if they were not using it, same situation there are plenty of tickets to be had at the ticket office for basketball, but they want people in there spending money as well.

The allegations against whoever seem to grow like Pinocchio's nose with each recount of the story.

the real money is with the new Tradition Fund. Face value prices are the same regardless if they're from a season ticket package or purchased at the window.

To be fair, the theft is speculation (actually, the theft happened, but we can only speculate on who did it). We (and there's a large group of us in that"we") saw her selling the copied passes and saw her getting busted for it. As for the scalpers on wheels, anyone who has been to an LSU sporting event in the last 5 years has encountered those guys.

To be fair, you don't know IF the passes were copies or not, nor do you know that that person was actually selling passes and not tickets.

When a guy strolls up to you with a folded newspaper and shows you the tickets and passes inside of said newspaper, it's a safe bet they aren't his season tickets or legal passes.

I saw a gate marshall shooing away a fan who was right outside the gates trying to sell tickets. He just told him he could not do that on the grounds. I am sure the gentleman just moved further away.

You're stating it was a guy, yet the other post said it was a girl.
Which is it?

I personally got approached by this guy. Have only heard tales of the ticket bitch.
I did however sit next to someone who i believe to be her at the casino the night of the 2nd regional game. Her and a younger guy told me that they had been banned from the campus for selling passes.
