(a) Destroy all viable military targets, try to empower from afar some group friendly to Western and Israeli causes and leave;
(b) Destroy all visible military targets and deploy SF and MEUs to secure some areas of interest and attempt to cultivate a group to lead Iran;
(c) Deploy a large number of troops to secure the country and assure Western friendly leadership in place; or
(d) Destroy all viable military targets, declare mission accomplishment and hope Iranian people take control and create a Western and Israeli friendly posture.

Obviously, there could be other options, but what do you think the administration is angling towards?

I have no clue what ratio of Iranians are or could be Westernized. I do know our track record in the ME is really bad at figuring that out.

How many pro US Afghans did we kill with our abrupt pull out? Why would an Iranian work with us?

My personal thought is that Trump is going to choose either Option A or C. This all depends on the Lindsey Graham influence. Graham obviously wants full scale invasion.

This whole thing is so puzzling. It’s the opposite of what he ran on 3x. He’s heading into the midterms likely to lose the house. He’s probably going to lose the senate now and could be removed from office.

Gas through roof now. Interest rates will
stay high. So many things he could be working on domestically.

He fought so hard to get back in office and then starts this war at this time. It makes no sense at all.

He may lose the Senate but I don't see them getting 60 to remove him.

He will simply do as little as needed to get things to change.

My suspicion is that mossad and us sexual forces have been in iran and have a feeling for what is going to be needed.

They are going to continue to pound military targets but also hit their alternative forces many check points and the such.

They are also trying to align the regular military to team with them against the irgc.

As little as needed. I don't think trump went to all this trouble without getting regime change.

Need to completely remove their ability to defend themselves while minimizing civilian casualties and damage to critical infrastructure.

Hopefully after that, a meeting followed up by a deal. Whether we want or need to be there, is now irrelevant, we are there, and we need to absolutely crush their capability..we'll see, hopefully we can get this wrapped up asap
