United Flights All Fricked Up?

BTR to IAH, IAH to San Diego. First we get a notification that our departing flight from IAH was delayed 90 minutes (blaming Orlando, possibly weather) then they push our departure out of BTR back 4 hours, blaming “restrictions on flights into and out of IAH”. Weather passed through well after more flight times last night?!? DHS sickouts? Knew when we flew through TSA this morning it was too good to be true.

Actually chatted with our pilot that cooling his heels with us waiting g to be turned loose. He said the weather all up the East Coast has everything snarled. So drive to New Orleans and deal with the TSA nightmare for a NS flight, or easy peasy pass through security here with the old hub system screwing us.

There is a shite ton of wind in IAH, and has been since the middle of last night. Gusts are up to 31, and will be until tonight.
That probably means they have to limit the usage of certain runways, etc.

Flying United Saturday...thankfully out of Lake Charles, so TSA lines shouldn't be a problem. But flying into Houston.

No weather at IAH on the horizon for the next ten days. Worst is partly cloudy, no fronts are moving through, you'll be fine.
