We take a good trip every year. Just 4 of us.
Last 5 years have been
Pinehurst, Big Cedar, Pebble, Streamsong, Sand Hollow.
We are doing Arcadia Bluffs and the northern Michigan area this July.
I’m up for selection next year and I’m looking at Punta Cana as I’ve heard good things.
The courses I’m looking at are: Corales, Teeth of the dog, La Cana, Punta Espada
Just seeing if someone has done this trip on here and am I missing any courses they may be better or not to be missed there
TIA

Haven't done an explicit golf trip, but I've played Punta Espada a couple of times and I really liked it. Went to Casa de Campo last summer. Teeth of the Dog was being renovated but I don't think I would have played it anyway. I was really surprised at the tariff to play there. I think ToD was $500+ for non resort guests, the other two were $325-400. I don't mind paying a lot for a great course, I've played Pebble several times, but seeing the courses while driving around the property, the fees seemed about double what they should have been.

Teeth of the Dog is great - but its a drive from Punta Cana (depending where you are in PC its going to be 1-2 hours away). It's good, and its obviously top 100 in the world but depending on the logistics for the trip you may not want to do that.
Punta Espada is a must play. Corales is really fun, wide open, etc. La Cana is really terrific and if you can make La Romana County Club happen you should. Stay at the Westin Punta Cana - LINK
they have a shuttle that will take to you to a number of the courses, its a few mins away from (like a 10 dollar uber) from a bunch of restaurants and bars. just a 20-25 min ride from the airport. really fun.

Played these three years ago. If you do the NEstern section, if you have a solid group of guys and aren't looking for just golf and not resort activities, then rent a house at Cap Cana Marina. Easy to get everywhere you need from there. If you want the all you can whatever, the resorts are pretty nice. I enjoyed them because they are actually on the water or have a significant portion have ocean views.
Espada was my favorite, Corales, then Cana.
My sister and husband did Casa de Campo a few months ago but one of the courses was closed until January 26. My sister and husband rented a house with some friends. Came with a golf cart, in house chef, and a few other on site amenities. From what she told me it wasn't as expensive as she thought it would be. Little harder to get to than Punta Cana. From what I was told, Teeth of the Dog is the elite course but the other two or three are primarily interior.
ETA: if you fly delta and have skyclub or priority pass membership, the club at the airport has a pool in it.

I personally liked Dye Fore better than Teeth of the Dog

I went a couple years ago in March. Stayed at Casa de Campo, but did go to PC to play Punta Espada.
Full disclosure-this was a solo trip and I mainly went to play multiple rounds.
Teeth of the Dog is really special after playing it a few times and getting to know the course. Punta Espada is also absolutely phenomenal and the conditioning of that course is immaculate. I played two rounds there, one day was low wind, the other was normal wind. Very tough course when the wind is up.
I played the Dye Fore course, and honestly it was also an amazing course. With Teeth I think the routing is spectacular, the hole variety is top notch and you have high shot values. I felt the Dye Fore didn’t have quite as many memorable holes. Punta Espada has a lot of memorable holes as well.
All told, I prefer the uniqueness of coursed designed by Dye opposed to Nicklaus (PE).
IF you do go down to CDC to play those courses you will be using a caddy. I had a few different ones. But my favorite was a guy named Miguel. He was awesome and was one of the absolute best green readers I have ever had.
He caddied for me at Dye Fore and then my final round at Teeth. I would only use him if I returned.
Like others have said: it is a drive from PC to Romana and the drive isn’t cheap.
I would go back to CDC in a heartbeat.

Punta Espada is awesome. 10/10 you gotta play there.

All in costs flying from Arizona was probably $11g.
BUT- I had not taken a real vacation in around 4 years.
This included a massage at CDC, all taxis from airport to CDC. CDC to Punta Cana and back to CDC and back to airport (like $100-130 each way).
Punta Espada is $500/rd
I think Teeth was 3-350/rd plus caddy tip. Played it 3x.
Included buying swag, and all meals.
Could easily do it cheaper if playing less golf and not having to go back and forth.
I ended up staying a night in PC due to logistics.
