So tomorrow I will attend an LSU sporting event for the 2nd time ever.
I live in Los Angeles and snuck out of town for the weekend and beggining of this week to come to Louisiana for mardi gras to visit a friend who goes to LSU. We have been in New Orleans all weekend but tomorrow afternoon we are heading to Baton Rouge to attend the LSU vs Florida basketball game.
I attended the LSU vs Georgia football game this past year and thought it was awesome! Even though the result of the game was not what I hoped. This will really be my 2nd LSU basketball to attend, however the 1st one was not in the PMAC. It was the final four game vs UCLA and I was not cheering for the Tigers.
Tomorrow I will be in the PMAC for the first time and will be cheering loud for the Tigers! Hopefully it will be a fun atmosphere and the Tigers can get another win on their road to becoming SEC Champions!
Go Bruins! and of course,

Glad to have you cheering on the Tigers. Enjoy the game and here's to a great win.

Great to have you as an adopted fan. You may need to cheer pretty loudly to make up for the old foogies and whiney brats that go to the games. I hope you're not too disappointed if the crowd only does what they've been doing for the last several years: sit on their hands and treat it like its a golf game or a tennis match.

I'm glad you had fun at the UGA game, but the atmosphere that day sucked. Hopefully you'll get to see a big game at night in Tiger stadium one of these days.....there really is a differnce.
I wouldnt expect too much out of the bball game tomorrow. Its during mardi gras so there wont be many students since most of us will still be in NOLA, as well as most of the fans. Hope you have fun though, and thanks for the support.

Snuck out? Has Cali finally become part of the Communist block?

supposedly, the student section sold out/was reserved by student requests. hope it's true. this place needs to be rockin and the players deserve it.

Doesn't sound like LSU does very well when you're around.
Both of those games were extremely hard to swallow.
LSU should be pumped for this game with Fla...
BR is a great time for Mardi Gras, anyway.
What did you see good in NOLA?

Mardi Gras > LSU basketball, for vast majority of students.
Should be an ok atmosphere Tuesday night.

The student reservations were maxed out but they were for saturday and not only were there 6 sections empty at the top, most of the student section toward the top was resold to general admission.

Welcome back, Bruin. I remember your post during FB season before the UGA game. Hope you enjoy New Orleans and can make bail in time for tip off on Tuesday.
