This is why I hate NIL-it’s basically signing bonus

NIL should not be awarded prior to the season, especially significant amounts. These dudes demanding money and then stinking out the joint. NIL should be for a guy who balls out and then gets paid for endorsements, not just recruiting/signing bonus money.

NIL is pay for play, but since it's really a year to year or in most cases, a one year deal.... it should strictly be performance based.

Everybody knows it’s a horrible broken system. It could be fixed in 20 minutes if the suits actually wanted to but they won’t as long as they are swimming in cash.

My, how the spin on NIL and transfer portal has deteriorated with LSU turning out inferior ball clubs. Anxious to see if this carries over to football. Recruiting out of high school and bringing up through the system may turn out to be best way after all.

LSU is in Louisiana. Pay to play was never going to work out well for us.

The biggest fix would be to do away with it.
