I watched the video on YouTube, and the whole thing was surreal. I've never seen Jim Carrey look anything like that.

Some trans makeup artist claimed to go in disguise as Carrey, but Carrey's PR team said that it was actually Jim.
Who knows with that guy? It could be that he hired someone to be his doppelganger and showed up too and kept it going in the press afterwards as some sort of performance art. Dude is just really weird.

True. Also one of the great comedic actors. I've always liked the guys who didn't need a script to be funny. Jim Carrey and Robin Williams were incredible at improvising some great comedy. I also thought Martin Short was good at just winging it, too.

Yup. Jim Carey uses "decoys" all the time. And he also hates lame awards so he definitely sent a fake.
I wouldn't put it past the rich celebrities to use "decoys" all the time. I mean, it just makes sense and you've got the money for it plus we know Joe Biden did it a lot. (or it was done for Joetatoe by whoever was really in charge).
