Why is everyone on Wade’s sack? He didn’t accomplish much while he was here and cheated. McMahon had them in position to win today, but we couldn’t make a shot down the stretch. I’m not saying he’s the guy, but surely there’s someone better than WW!

Wade would pump instant excitement back into the program. He can get high profile players and fans will buy season tickets. He is smart enough to know how to schedule have LSU ready for sec play. I remember going to the NIT game and when he stomped his foot I turned to my wife and said “we are getting season tickets next year”. I had them all the way till Wade was fired.

He was on pace to be the greatest LSU basketball coach of all time until canned. He brings an enthusiasm to basketball for this school even when football is doing well.

If they keep Mac, they need to give him more NIL money. If they get a new coach, needs more NIL money. Mac improved the talent, but not enough.

I havent been keeping up with Mcmahon threads lately but it would have been interesting to see how well they would have done this year with a healthy roster. I says this in ready to fire him if we bring back Will Wade but I dont think he is bad as a coach is everyone is making him out to be.

The players played their azz off for Mac, that can't be denied. Impressed with that part. More NIL funds are needed.

The problem is, whenever you reach excuse 5-6-7 as to why he isn't winning, all faith is lost. He will never win at LSU because he's a terrible coach.
People get all caught up in close games, and moral victories. The teams playing us know its an easy win, so we are getting nobodies best effort. If a team had a lot to play for, they would beat us by 30 instead of 6.
