The League of Nations was followed by the United Nations. Both were and are disasters. This is a perfect example of why the world can or should not have an entity that tells or demands sovereign countries behave a particular way.
With such organizations it will always come down to who has control of the info. With such control nations can expect the info to be prostituted as well.
