I Wasn't Concerned, But Now I Am....

Pitching. Defense. Hitting.
Nothing looks good. Still not conceding the season by any means, but this is the worst I've seen LSU baseball look in a long, long time. The defense has almost looked comical at times tonight.
Not sure what the fix is.

This years team is garbage . Jay has won 2 in 3 years but the hardest thing is being able to keep yourself and your team focused every season to be elite . Thats what made Saban so great of a coach . He knew what to do and how to do it every year.

You are speaking for many of us. We are well past the point of losing a mid-week game and thinking, no big deal. We started off the season so well, can't explain the drop. But, what is different? Only thing I see is Chris Stanfield out of the lineup. He will not be 100% this weekend, but obviously we need him back in a big way!

We haven't played an SEC game yet. The defense is the only thing that is likely a problematic season long issue. The guys playing are just not solid in the field. We have hit and pitched extremely well at times. That is definitely fixable.

Fixable? Maybe not, but improvement is still possible. Some of these guys need to improve and could be the nucleus of a run next season.
