He will take everyone’s spot. They will use him like the Steelers did Polamalu. He’ll be a safety that will move around o disguise coverages, and they will blitz the crap out of him. If he lives up to his billing, dude will be a star

He would have to or have Sanker move there and Downs take his spot.
Downs would need to be on the field immediately to justify taking him at #8

Not sure we want Sanker playing full time nickel, but Downs could probably do it often enough that between he and Sanker you can switch it up.

Knee issue is the only concern I would have taking him at 8, but teams have been known to manufacture b***s*** to make guys slip

Yup. He's a side project. Little cost lots of potential. Not a guy I have penciled in on the roster day 1. But we got him because there's a chance.
