I said this in other threads but people that I trust that have legit basketball sources say it is a done deal already that Wade is coming back. 2 different people I trust have told me this independently. I hope it comes to fruition but I remain skeptical until I hear it actually happening.

NC State has lost 4 straight games, and 6 of their last
7. Hoping this is a sign that Wade's already checked out, as his mind is somewhere else.

First, LSU has to fire McMahon. No new coach, Wade or not, can be hired until the current coach is fired.
Second, relative to NC State’s losing streak, is that I also wondered if he’d already checked out. But there hasn’t been a lot of smoke out of Raleigh indicating his departure was forthcoming.
I feel for the LSU players. They put in a lot of work, only to finish last in the conference. I don’t feel for the coaches, but if they can look inward and say they did the best they could, so be it. The results speak for themselves. We’re all just waiting to see if the shoe drops after the inevitable loss Wednesday to Kentucky.
