Big South Champion

A university of barely 6,000 students is going to the tourney with a first year head coach

Wait a tick. I’m confused. I thought it took 8 seasons to build a program and make the tourney?

And how do you think they would do with an SEC schedule?

I would like McMahon gone as well, but it's silly to compare LSU to champions of nothing conferences because they make the tourney and we don't.

They might win at home vs South Carolina and good thing for them is MM has set the bar at winning 2-3 games.

I’m noticing a trend on the rant that emotional and angry OPs frequent PT as well

They’ve also won their conference 3 years in a row.

I don’t think the big south is even giving away MBB tickets for free with the purchase of any other athletic event.

It was their 3rd straight Big South conference title. They also won that conference 4 straight years from 2013-2016

What is the point of this post? That mid-major conferences have schools you've never heard of win conference titles every year?

Also, to your post, everyone in that conference except for Radford (10k) has an enrollment of 6000 or fewer students. Presbyterian has an enrollment of 1300

They are also going for the sweep on the road against Florida today in baseball.

Do you know what relativity means?

I wish our normie fans knew how many good basketball coaches are out there. It isn’t anything like football, the sport is so much smaller logistically, the coach just has to know his prescriptions and how to motivate. You can find good guys all over the place if you know what you’re looking for.

lol...I don't know what your comment even means?

Nowhere was "relativity" mentioned in the OP.

Your argument is the success should be dismissed because High Point couldn’t win the SEC. The talent pool he’s winning in is on par with or “relative” to his competition. I’ll simplify it for you, Danny Hurley wouldn’t win the SEC if he was coaching at High Point. Do you understand?

That’s what’s wrong with NCAA tournament; auto bids for weak conferences. Bottom half of SEC would probably win such conferences.

lol...what? That's not my argument at all. My "argument" was that...yes, I would like to see McMahon gone (and I want him gone because he has not moved the program forward)...but it was more that the comparison of HP making the tourney as a small conference champion vs. the lack of success LSU has had is silly because HP does not play an SEC schedule.

My argument for MM getting fired has ZERO to do with High Point. lol

I’m not angry, your argument is nonsensical

Different for sure, but you dont exactly have to dominate the sec to make tourney, just do decent.

Wade did that.
