We can beat them with a few improvements by the team. MWilliams & FJohnson have to be more aggressive on offense and create their shots. Don't expect #1 to score too much. My thinking is when we do beat So Car make it in the NCAA tournament where it hurts the worst!

Isn’t that what LSU fans do when a team takes a loss? Call for the coach’s head? By the end of this athletic season, yall won’t have any coaches left.
you must be one of the Mclosers He has to go and the only other seat that is warm is Beth. She’s making 500k a year( one of the highest paid softball coaches)and hasn’t made the CWS in years

I don’t know if I’m just biased, but seems like refs always let South Carolina get away with murder with fouls whenever I see them play LSU.

Not sure if they are always allowed to play like that or if it’s just vs LSU, since I don’t watch any women’s basketball outside of the few LSU games I watch a year.

They also know that LSU is 0-19 against that team. BUT on a positive side.... KM is only 0-7 against them.

If I'm being honest, I think it's the opposite.

The team is good enough to beat them. But,. they are CLEARLY unable to handle the mental aspect of it. There were multiple moments where the team began to melt emotionally.

.

I’d say the first, most obvious improvement is not to let SC shoot layup after layup against you. The defense was laughably bad, yet they were still in it.

Right now SC is just a better team / program than LSU. But the good news is, there's not much difference between the two. The difference, in my opinion, is composure late in games.....................especially this season, when they have perhaps the best point guard in college. But we are not that far off. We just need to learn how to close out against the great teams.

The good thing that came out of this tournament, however, is that we probably moved up a place in the NCAA seed line. With Vandy losing to Ole Miss in the quarterfinals and us beating Oklahoma, the latest bracketology has us as the 2nd lowest #2 seed. Which now means Vanderbilt would be in the bracket with UConn and LSU would be in the bracket with UCLA...........................who I think LSU could beat in the elite eight.

Too many missed layups. Could have won by 6 easy.

That's exactly what I think it mental by now. When everyone is repeating the same old thing 18 straight losses it's gotten too stressful for those upper classmen and it's distracting

I’m a CKM fan, but when the game is on the line, Staley makes better decisions. Kim seems to tighten up and her players follow suit.

Or maybe Dawn has been in place for 15 years and has her program more solidly in place with an older core rotation while over half of Kim's rotatation are freshmen and sophomores with limited prior playing time. Yet they lost by a couple of plays in both games.

LSU hasn’t beaten USCe since Mulkey took over, even when we had more experienced players.

Mulkey herself said this

It has been proven that midweek games don't have a huge effect on NCAA seeding.....as long as you don't lose too many

ULL is the worst when they actually beat LSU at something. They yap incessantly like a bunch of chihuahuas
