26.1 can eat a dick
Quads will be feeling this one for a few days.

20 Wallballs 20/14 at 10/9 target height
18 box jump overs 24/20
30 Wallballs
18 BJOs
40 Wallballs
18 box step overs holding the wallball
66 Wallballs
18 box step overs holding the wallball
40 Wallballs

20 Wallballs
Died during the 66 Wallballs. Cardio was fine, but my quads didn’t want to squat anymore 5 minutes in.
May try a redo but that’ll depend on the quads on Monday.

I’m too old for this shite. I ain’t trying to be the best at exercising anymore. I can’t recover on those metcons like I used to. Think my CrossFit days are over.

I got 3 of the 66 when the time cap hit. Definitely could've pushed harder at certain points, but still happy with my score.
My gym does an internal challenge to see which class (based on start time) is best. I'm on the 5 am one and we finished last the last two years. In our defense, we probably have the highest average age out of all the classes.

got to 30 in the 66 on Friday, quads still sore this morning
i don’t mind wallballs so this was a decent workout for me…preparing myself to score nothing on heavy snatches and once the bar muscle ups come into play

Got 51/66. This will probably be the only one I’ll be able to Rx. I’ve scratched off many movements that aren’t worth risk/reward to me - barbell snatch, OH squat, muscle ups, kipping and butterfly pull-ups, fast-cycling cleans, rope climbs, American kettlebell swings, handstand pushups.

I wish it was Bar MU. It's Ring MU. Hoping to get my first one today.
On 26.1 I finished the 66 wall balls, but that only got me to the 64th percentile. Needed a good wheelhouse workout for 26.2 but the rings ruined that for me.

Yeah.. I just saw it.
I saw Muscle Ups and I assumed Bar until I read the flow.
That’s the natural progression: Pull-ups, CTB Pull-ups then Bar MUs.
Throwing rings in there screws all the masters people up who are over 50.

I did scaled and finished with about 10 seconds left. I wanted to do RX, but after the person before me didn't finish scaled and he's been doing crossfit longer than me and he is younger than me, scaled looked best. It still sucked.

I was at the gym with the intent of hitting 26.2 Rx last night but this week sucked.
Hotel rooms all week. Crap sleep. No workouts since 26.1 last Friday. Early wake up on Thursday to get back in town late afternoon.
Started to warm up and everything felt off so I shut it down and will do this on Monday after I get back into a regular routine.
They are releasing 26.3 at Wodapalooza on Thursday. It will be a workout that everyone can perform there, no matter what level of your competition: Elite, Rx, Intermediate, Open, Indy or Team, so it’ll be something like 7 min of burpees followed by a max lift.

today sucked, got 150rx … just had to keep heart rate down before thrusters and not ever get too hot/fast from the burpees and cleans

It sucked from the second set of burpees on. Did 124 this evening. Not bad for a 47.75 year old.

I’m right on the cut line for QFs.
I’ll probably do it just because. I also heard they may be bench press in QFs.
You will see me top 10 in that and 1000th in the other events.
