Convince me: Why not RH?

Strongly considering rolling my TSP to Robinhood IRAs for the 2% match. Why not? I am a simple buy/hold index investor. I dont need this $ for 10-20+ yrs. No interest in G fund and want to get out of TSP ASAP anyway. What am I missing? Talked to Schwab they can't match the offer may be able to offer a token amount as bonus less than 1/10th what I'd net from RH.

IF you are moving it over and you are putting in into things that you are simply going to INVEST in and not TRADE, I think you will be fine.
I did it last year but things didn't settle quickly enough for me, but I was trading. So, I put it back in CS.

Robinhood is a solid brokerage with lots of perks. It's probably the best of the "new age" services. I'd use it more if they started adding more OTC tickers.
It's not going anywhere. It's taking market share from some of the seasoned vets.

Been with RH for many years now, can't recommend it enough. The perks on gold are seriously good with the IRA match alone.
I also finally got the RH gold credit card which has an unmatched 3% back on everything (every other catch all card is 1.5-2%. It does require gold membership but that more than pays for itself with the 3% IRA match easily.
I've had no issues with them, I know some on here are still a bit butthurt from the meme stock trading freeze several years ago but i don't engage in that kind of activity so never bothered me to start with.

How long did it take? One concern I have is the rollover takes too long and I lose more than 2% while funds are sitting in cash. That's an issue no matter where I move it but if RH is slower I may reconsider. Either.way I need.out of TSP.

RH does this offer several times a year I've noticed, so just wait to do it when they offer it again and they usually do it in like 2-3 month windows
Basically dont start the process if you have like 3 weeks or less until the deadline. I do know these rollovers can take a while ESPECIALLY if where you're rolling it over from only wants to cut a check and mail it which always makes me super nervous - Vanguard was like this for my wifes Traditional IRA we sent to her 401k provider. Would ONLY cut a check and send it, no wire option, I was even willing to pay for the wire. Nope, didnt offer it. And it was snail mail...$86k check just going through regular USPS, I was on edge for like 2 weeks

I rolled over to RH mid-late last year. Took about a month in total since we had to do check transfer
