I wonder what kind of dribble was written in there about the greatness of Clinton and if her election saved the world...they already had the history written.
This would be an interesting leak
Imagine a band basically deleting an entire album, after all of that work, because someone they weren't paid to like won an election in a country they don't call home.
quote:
guitarist the Edge said that the band was placing the album’s release on hold and taking some “breathing space” to consider what they wanted to say following Trump’s ascension to the White House

It's unbelievable to me how much some care about federal politics. They probably can't give you one name of a local council member or whatever - the type of official that would have vastly more impact on their daily lives.

Go read your local Reddit. Every city and town has a litany of issues to deal with or talk about. Or positives. Yet it’s all Trump, ICE, etc.

On one hand theyre idiots. On the other hand .. if you can make millions or billions by pandering to a mindless populace by following a very easy formula… selling them garbage that they eagerly gobble up, then theyre brilliant.
I wouldnt do it but i cant blame them for taking advantage of a world full of moronic mindless liberals.

U2 hasn't released ANYTHING decent since 1987. Seriously.
I don't understand why they're still even relevant or why, in America, so many people take stock in the opinion of a band of Irish pinkos from one of the most historically corrupt nations of the past hundred years.
Their music was revolutionary and intriguing 40 years ago though.

Perhaps U2 should stay on their side of the pond. Lord knows Ireland has plenty of problems far worse than America. Despite liking their early work, they've become massive sanctimonious d-bags
