Hundreds of thousands of dead American soldiers have been slaughtered by this thought.

Isolationism was always the only way to peace.

It is an unrealistic dream to think the foreign policies of the last 75 years have gained us any peace or safety whatsoever

Guys, Iran is simple. Its over already. You just have some dumbass leader with access to a camera spewing bullshite. People like him who talk and threaten, are the most scared of all.
Now, Russia eants a deal, and thats where those fricks go to hide...so guess what we'll demand..beside ending Ukraine bs.
Venezuela is even easier, because the people want us there AND the minerals add incentives to offer others to help, or stay out of it, like China
Cuba? Wtf, thats the easiest of all, especially if Russia is begging our ending embargo...they protect Cuba

If all this plays out, this administration will be the greatest of any, in any country, at any time in the history of the world.

All this while Dems are screaming for **** killers and illegals....LOL

They are so fricking pathetic

AND NOW, FRIENDS AND COUNTRYMEN, if the wise and learned philosophers of the elder world, the first observers of nutation and aberration, the discoverers of maddening ether and invisible planets, the inventors of Congreve rockets and Shrapnel shells, should find their hearts disposed to enquire what has America done for the benefit of mankind?

Let our answer be this: America, with the same voice which spoke herself into existence as a nation, proclaimed to mankind the inextinguishable rights of human nature, and the only lawful foundations of government. America, in the assembly of nations, since her admission among them, has invariably, though often fruitlessly, held forth to them the hand of honest friendship, of equal freedom, of generous reciprocity.

She has uniformly spoken among them, though often to heedless and often to disdainful ears, the language of equal liberty, of equal justice, and of equal rights.

She has, in the lapse of nearly half a century, without a single exception, respected the independence of other nations while asserting and maintaining her own.

She has abstained from interference in the concerns of others, even when conflict has been for principles to which she clings, as to the last vital drop that visits the heart.

She has seen that probably for centuries to come, all the contests of that Aceldama the European world, will be contests of inveterate power, and emerging right. Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.

But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.

She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

She will commend the general cause by the countenance of her voice, and the benignant sympathy of her example.

She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom.

The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force....

She might become the dictatress of the world. She would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit....

[America’s] glory is not dominion, but liberty. Her march is the march of the mind. She has a spear and a shield: but the motto upon her shield is, Freedom, Independence, Peace. This has been her Declaration: this has been, as far as her necessary intercourse with the rest of mankind would permit, her practice.

John Quincy Adams, 1821

Or how about this one?

quote:

The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements, let them be fulfilled with perfect good faith.

Here let us stop. Europe has a set of primary interests which to us have none; or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies, the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves by artificial ties in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities. Our detached and distant situation invites and enables us to pursue a different course. If we remain one people under an efficient government. the period is not far off when we may defy material injury from external annoyance; when we may take such an attitude as will cause the neutrality we may at any time resolve upon to be scrupulously respected; when belligerent nations, under the impossibility of making acquisitions upon us, will not lightly hazard the giving us provocation; when we may choose peace or war, as our interest, guided by justice, shall counsel.

Why forego the advantages of so peculiar a situation? Why quit our own to stand upon foreign ground? Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest, humor or caprice?

George Washington, 1796

These two brilliant men were correct then and they’re correct now.

We know that, of course, and if anyone other than Trump were in office this would be considered the greatest frickin victory since we ran off the red coats.

But instead we will hear Bunk's retard crew claim that we are starting new wars and should therefore impeach Trump immediately for breaking a campaign promise.

I asked Hank Johnson. He says that the sudden lift of mass once the Cubans go back home will cause a mountain chain to form and cause a tsunami. Therefore we should not allow it to happen and instead should impeach Trump immediately.
