Ok taking step dad to his first baseball game at the Box . Looking to spend $25 a ticket if that’s possible. Appreciate any help with best seating for us. Thanks

Just buy a $12 ticket and move to two empty seats. Then spend $200 on beer to support Jay.

So general admission sit where you can?

Check out seat geek. Tickets are as low as $8

Again is it general seating

That’s what we did for the last two games. It’s easy with two. We had four.

It is not. There are assigned seats but there are empties you can move to outside of the purple seats

Technically general admission with no assigned seat is Standing Room Only but there have been a splattering of empty seats despite the nice crowds on Saturday and Sunday.

Tagging onto this. How do you get seats in the new seating area where the bullpen used to be? Are there single game tickets there?

Seat geek . Is there a paper ticket or send you electronic ticket?

Very. I've purchased tickets thru them many times over the last couple of years for various events.
I actually did, this past Saturday, for the baseball game as well. Make purchase, then transfer them to your apple or google wallet, once at the gate just open your phone and scan the QR codes. Its really simple.
But yes, as others have said, typically early season especially mid week games, Alex Box isn't full. I typically buy some cheap tickets, go sit for awhile, then move to better seats if they are still empty around the 3rd inning.
I did the same Saturday when I went. My friends went and I bought tickets late so my tickets weren't next to them. After the 2nd or 3rd inning, the empty seats by them were still empty, so we just moved and went sit by them.
