Originally was on AMC (season 4 picked up by Netflix) and is now streaming on Hulu. Was originally a Swedish series.

It had been ages since I watched this and remember loving it so when I saw it on Hulu I fired up a rewatch.

Just finished S1 last night and I remember now the complaints about the murder not being solved in S1 and stretching it out into S2. Valid complaint. Definitely should have solved the murder but still a quality season. Mirielle Enos and Joel Kinnaman make a great duo.

My memory could be failing me here too but seems like S3 was just crazy good. No spoilers on that one please seeing as I've forgotten everything and it's like a first watch almost.

Plan on rewatching the Swedish version after I finish the US version, it's also available on Hulu.

Anybody else give this a watch?

I watched this quite a while back and remember liking it. It’s the one with Kinnamam, when he was tall and lanky and not all jacked? His character was a detective but a recovering addict?

Is that right?

I might give it a rewatch while I have Hulu no ads.

That's the one. Definitely some flawed main characters.

He definitely has a ghetto thing going on which is kind of weird at first, especially the way he talks because it sounds kind of forced, probably annoying to some, but I actually like it. His character definitely becomes a guy you root for.

TV has certainly changed because S1 was 13 episodes and that seemed like a marathon compared to shows now where you're lucky to get 10 a season. 13 was a pretty nice balance between the 6-10 that's so common now and the 25 from years past.

I remember watching the first season of the US version years ago and really liking it. Is season 2 worth a watch?

Also watched the Swedish version which I thought was very good (thought English was better).

Yo, Linden.

I need to rewatch it , I do remember really enjoying S1 and S2 (even though dragging it out was not good at the time).

I don't remember anything about S3 and 4.

In my mind I always remembered S3 being my favorite but I couldn't tell you why. Maybe because it was a new murder/mystery. Just going to IMDB and looking at episode ratings it looks like I was maybe right just based on top rated episodes.

All four seasons are episodes in the 7.5-9.o range so pretty strong all the way throughout.

Would I need to watch S2 or could I go straight into S3?

Yea should be able to go straight to season 3. S1 and 2 are the Rosie Larson case, S3 starts a new case.
