Live scoring

Gonna be really tough without two starters (Pieczkowski and Loncarevic).

Probably going to be the difference in this one.

The scheduler for the inaugural ATP Baton Rouge Challenger did a terrible job. No reason to just be starting the QFs on a Friday; and they've wrapped up doubles and singles play by around 6:00 the past few days.

All it took was 1 slight upset in the tournament with Pieczkowski beating Vandecasteele and LSU is without one of it's top players. LSU is lucky the other guys lost early.

Olaf should have played in the QFs yesterday as a heavy underdog to Dostanic.

eta: Anybody that's out near campus and looking to kill time; head to the Tennis Complex and make some noise for Pieczkowski playing in a professional QF event.

And even if Olaf loses today, it will be tough for him to get to Waco for tomorrow’s match in less than 24 hours

How does this work. Is it a round robin or something ?

It is main draw and back draw . So LSU lost to TCU and went to the back draw where they beat A&M.

Now LSU plays UCF in the next round who also lost in R1 and won their back draw match.

Then what happens.

If teams lost both draws what does that mean.

Is this double elimination or something?

ETA: Nevermind I used AI to explain it to me. It’s not an NCAA championship.

Every team is guaranteed 3 matches. So the 0-2 teams play the 0-2 teams in the last match.

Like A&M lost to LSU so now they will play UC-Santa Barbara who is also 0-2.

Yeah the NCAA championships are outdoor in May. This is the indoor national championships, run by the ITA (college tennis governing body).

The results still mean a lot for rankings for the season moving forward before SEC play starts next week
