Archbishop Aymond in NOLA is officially retired

Pope Leo accepted his resignation today.

He turned 75 a while ago but was asked to stay on until the bankruptcy case was concluded. That has occurred.

Archbishop Checchino who was announced last fall as his successor, officially takes over.

I think there is about to be a lot of changes…
