Sec B1G football dominance

One thing I like for both leagues is that the expansion teams for each league have not come in a won so big as to overshadow the traditional teams.
In the SEC we still have Georgia and Alabama and LSU and Tennessee and now Ole Miss. Florida will be back soon also. But Texas, Oklahoma and Tamu have not overshadowed them.
In the B1G Michigan and Ohio State and Indiana have the last 3 patties. Oregon has been real close but not there yet. USC, Wash and UCLA have not dominated. Heck even Nebraska has done very little since expansion.
All the expansion teams have supplemented mid conference strength but not much more.

Yes but the Big 10 is super duper gay.

Mizzou came in and made the East look dumb.
It got a little awkward there at first.

Oregon has gone 17-1 in Big Ten & won the 2024 Big Ten Championship. They’ve also won 2 playoff games
Texas has gone 13-3 in SEC & lost the 2024 SEC Championship to UGA in OT. They’ve also won 2 playoff games
Not sure what you mean by this.
Big Ten added 4 teams & made their conference weaker with 18 teams.
SEC added 2 teams & made their conference stronger with 16 teams.

Debatable… Texas and OU would have had to be Saban’s Bama to make the SEC stronger

What
With the new SEC 9 game schedule, I’d say everyone has at least 5 tough opponents, maybe 6. No real easy games
Big Ten is lucky to get 4 “tough” games. A lot of easy games vs bad teams

But these "bad teams" in the B1G beat these "tough" opponents in bowl games the last few years.
You will consider South Carolina, Bama and Ole Miss tough teams, but B1G teams beat them in bowl games/playoff games.

USC Oregon and Washington certainly strengthened the conference overall

That is LITERALLY all that matters.
Winning the title and all the games to get to the title, matter. Winning the bowl games between conferences matter.
You are talking about the strength of the SEC when in reality the SEC has proven to not be strong at all the last 2 seasons.
SEC with all its tough teams: 12-17 in bowl/playoff games last 2 seasons
B1G with all the bad teams: 22-11 with 2 national titles
Which conference do you think is OBJECTIVELY better the last 2 years

eeeeehhhhh that may be a small bit of a stretch.
-In their first season they went 5-7 and 2-6 in conference.
-2013 I can't take anything away from them they had a great season and won the east. Got whipped in the SECCG
-In 2014 they got absolutely assthrashed 34-0 at home by UGA (and lost to a 4-8 Indiana, somehow) but did manage to win the east, before getting assthrashed again in the SECCG
-2015 and onward they sucked dick

Ole Miss is dead, LSU killed them. I’m not joking. Ole Miss is going to be a cellar dweller again for a long time.
