- One company does over 50% of all school photos in America and over 25% of school photos globally
- It was acquired by investment firm owned by BlackRock and Vanguard
- They’re the top shareholders of a company who the CEO was a primary investor of a company who’s been sued multiple times for scrapping facial data to build their AI's learning database. The illegal use of facial images without consent

“To be fair, maybe this whole connection is a bit of a stretch, but in the end, it really is one big company that runs everything. Using your childhood photos to train a facial recognition deep learning database to eventually establish a global mass surveillance state that is constantly watching your every move from the second you enter this world — That's who took your school photos”

And many Republicans still want zero guardrails on AI development and implementation.

Gotta love that 10 year moratorium on AI regulation for states.

There’s no such thing as privacy anymore. Your “private data” is whored out by hundreds of corporations. Obviously this was happening long before AI, but this makes it so much worse. There needs to be a massive overhaul of regulation with regards to personal data, including a means for every person to have all their information wiped from corporate databases.

another important point:
Loading Twitter/X Embed...
If tweet fails to load, click here.

The photos are uploaded to databases run by a company whose owner was also involved with Epstein & sued for r*pe of 16-yr old girl

States need to protect their citizens better regarding this kind of stuff. All the cars with cameras on them recording you sitting in your car in traffic. Chaps my hide looking in a car and seeing their rearview mirror" is a monitor. I've. Even wondering how to "legally" tint my windshield like I see other vehicles.

I heard that the googles came out and said they just need 8 seconds of you speaking to say whatever they want in your voice.

It's nuts. Thanks to all the "I don't care if they get my data, I got nothing to hide" folks.

To be fair,

This could possibly be the dumbest start to a post or statement ever come up with by mankind.
