Previous groups had their chance and couldn’t win.

Looking at you Hawaii.

This was common knowledge up to about 100 years ago. The natives we conquered "stole" the land from previous natives. It is the worst argument ever.

One more time. Whoever possesses the land makes the rules. That’s why DEM led cities are shiteholes.

Natives that haven't even yet discovered the wheel.

I believe the natives we had either came across the land bridge or were remnants of the germicide that the Europeans brought over. It blew my mind that Cuba at one point barely had 100 people on it because everyone died from diseases they were never exposed to. We switched over to africans because they were resistant, new more crops, and could handle horses

I used to be fairly absolute in my agreement with the OP.

One caveat, though.

In virtually all cases, the land was indeed conquered, and I have no problem with saying that.

A more legitimate gripe, though, are the hundreds of ratified treaties that have been broken. If we agreed to and ratified treaties with what we held to be independent nations, then broke them, that’s not good.

I can (and will) argue that it was stupid to approach these situations with these treaties, but I’m also a big believer in living up to agreements.

I’m not at all saying the “stolen land” argument is valid. I’m just saying it’s not as black and white as saying we conquered land that they had conquered before us.

Conquered? Stolen? Who gives a shite? It’s the land of opportunity.

When violent illegal criminals (or anyone who is threat to Americans) acts against America’s public safety— deport or imprison their arses.

I think another way to describe it could be conquerors -v- squatters.

No wheel, hadn't domesticated the horse, no written language, etc. Basically cavemen.
