Putting money in the pockets of normies. They decide everything and don’t really care about the “why” or “how”

They just get mad when they have less money, and are happy when they have more of it

The base of the right and the base of the left is pretty much entrenched on their views. You ideally want to figure out how to make your base more happy than the base of the other side is mad. Which is often a difficult task, because anger/outrage is always the best motivation to get people to the polls. The side in power will always be less motivated.

But if you can figure out how to make the normie fence riders happy about gas prices, inflation, jobs, stock market, and you can get 60-65% of them then you can hold Congress

Holding Congress accomplishes a few things even with the traitorous RINOs who will unfortunately be rewarded

1) Maintains the mandate, and even further emboldens it for Trump to act and act more aggressively on deportation, etc

2) Allows for more judges, etc to be appointed

3) Holds off the daily obstruction and impeachments the Dems will unleash to grind down Trump and make him less effective

What can Trump do in the next year to satiate the middle of the road types that just want to know if there is more money in their pocket and that money goes further?

Just got off a work call with a baw in Minny. He said if you didn't turn on the news, you'd never know all those disruptors were even in the streets because there are so few of them

It is always amazing to me how the news makes it seem these cities are in total chaos. Where it’s usually just a few blocks for a limited amount of time

I was in Seattle during the height of the Floyd protests and CHAZ
I didn’t see any demonstrations or protests the entire time I was there

Always a consideration.

I hear nothing but complaints about falling purchase power of the melting dollar -- and runaway costs of everything, from food to energy costs to insurance and medical.

But also don't underestimate these times of daily instability, uncertainty and...the specter of routinely rigged-for-Dems elections (aided & abetted by the usual non-existent GOP "election observers" letting the usual shenanigans play out).

Hmm. That's because all these assemblies of "protesters" (and media "observers") have been nothing less than political theatricals performances, featuring hired "crisis actors" from Central Casting.

Some "media" have even discussed being "tipped off" as to time and place.

Side-note: Pretti Boy was captured on video a week before his theatrical "demise" starring in the role of highly agitated SINGLE-SOLITARY "PROTESTER" who get pushed to the ground (gently.)

Witnessing the lame role-play were several "camera" people and the several supposed "ICE Agents".

The 2026nmid terms should be an all in for every person that voted trump in 2024. Trump needs string Republican who support his policies in office for his final 2 years. If this does not happen then the Democrats win forever.

The Democrats plan has been to stall as much of Trump as possible and sour the mid terms. If they win the mid terms, they will stop Trump agenda cold. This is all they want.

If they stop Trump's policies during his last 2 years, the Democrats will be in a strong position for their 2028 POTUS candidate over Vance or anyone in Trump orbit.

So yes, there is no opportunity to take it easy in the mid terms or any election at this point.

A poor economy motivates voters. We saw that.

The bad thing is a strengthening economy does not motivate voters nearly as much.

Minnesota will motivate more voter turnout than an improving economy, unfortunately.

The 10-12 trillion dollars of investment is the how and the why is tariffs....
What most short attention span folks fail to understand is this will take time.
Scott Bessent, who has been spot on, has said repeatedly that he expects we we'll see these things happening by June of '26.

The US trade and economy is HUGE and can't be turned around in a short time.
Trump has everything set up to bring what folks are waiting for, but a little patience is required. IMHO

I don’t see congress being held in the midterms by a party in power for a long time.

Republicans will get beat in 2026, as did Democrats in 2022, as did Republicans in 2018, as did Democrats in 2014, as did Democrats in 2010, as did Republicans in 2006.

Moderate voters vote with whatever outrage that the minority campaigns on.

Wash, rinse, repeat.
