Im in sw ms and looking for someone to work on my 1964 ford 2000 tractor. Very similar to the 9n. The hydraulic lifts have gone out on it. Everything else works fine. Ive done most of the trouble shooting on it i just dont have time to work on it.
Any recommendations on someone that works on these? No looking for just a mechanic shop, actual person/place. The john deere/kubotA/mahindra dealerships do not.

Try Lamar Case in Brookhaven. Ask for
Jeffrey.
Have you checked the hydraulic suction strainer? They tend to plug/gel up which will cause exactly what you are describing. My dad’s old Farmtrac (ford clone) did that exact same thing. We put a new filter and it was full of goop. The strainer is in the reservoir and was covered in it.

I would call Blair Eidt in Natchez.
601-920-9299
He worked at Kubota dealer and now has his own business repairing tractors and equipment. Very honest guy and knowledgeable.
