Payton will have to overcome himself, as usual. One onsides kick, albeit ultimate onions, saved his arse. Playoff choke after playoff choke other than that.

If Denver wins i think it will say more about Vance Joseph and the Broncos defense than it will about Sean Payton being great or Stidham being terrible.
We all know that Payton is a very good coach. Nowhere near best ever. And Stidham has played decent for a guy who hasn't taken a snap in over 2 years.

Except Payton has Stidham in the shotgun with no backs. Pats know what’s coming and they aren’t worried about the QB making a play with arm or legs.
