I didn’t search, cuss me out idkc

I’ve got a group of bros going with me to Return of the King tomorrow. Seriously feels like Christmas Eve. I couldn’t go to all 3 re releases due to kids and committing that much time in a theater so I chose ROTK.

Based on the siege of Minas Tirith mainly, charge of the rohirrim against the haradrim. Can’t fricking wait to hear and see that again on big screen

I went 4 times when I was 13, gonna be like old times

Who else has gone and what was it like, get me hyped again

I do a rewatch of the extended editions every Christmas, since they are Christmas movies, so I just saw them. That being said I kind of regret not going to see them in theaters now.

Ride of the Rohirrim is legit one of the most goosebumps inducing scenes in history. The king of Rohan hyping up the boys, rising down the line clanging swords then turning and just slowing starting into a gallop toward Fate.

If you look up the word "epic" in the digital dictionary there should be a gif of that clip embedded.

The wife (no pics), kid, and I went to the theater re-release a couple of years ago.

Extended versions three nights in a row. I felt like I’d run a marathon after it was over.

When my wife and I were first dating, I got her on board with them being Christmas movies because there’s elves in them.

Not saying that was factored into my eventual proposal, but won’t deny it either
