No team that he previously coached at misses the guy so that should tell you a lot.

A guy who failed twice as an OC and also failed as a HC isn’t exactly who any college should be getting excited about hiring.

Arthur Smith is not Chip Kelly.

The Steelers offensive scheme this year was mind-numbingly inept with one of the best QBs in history. Didn’t play to any of AR’s strengths, looked like vanilla preseason offense.

Nobody is saying he is and he doesn’t need to be. Plenty of OCs who didn’t succeed at the pro level who have been great in college. I think his scheme will work well at a school that’s going to have more talent basically every Saturday
