I remember he had a huge game against Stacey King and #1 Oklahoma at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans; around 30 points. I also seem to remember that game being on USA.

That game against Oklahoma @ UNO was insane. I still had in on video tape, until Katrina drowned it. Jose was on fire.
Jose had this one dunk that he called the "Cobra Dunk". I don't think he ever did it in a game, but he would do it while goofing around, or in practice. Imagine your elbow pointed at the goal, with your wrist up by your forehead. Then, he would kinda stab the ball through the hoop and quickly pull his hand back... like a cobra strike. It was funny.
His in-game dunks were fierce, and they were as momentum-inspiring as Shaq's were. The Assembly Center would ERUPT.

Exactly right. He made Billy Tubbs shake his head a dozen times that night. He also had three great games against Vanderbilt's All-American Will Perdue.
