Appliance repair BR recommendation?

Looking for someone to fix a dryer that functions but is super loud squeaky. It’s old but I’m cheap and live 2 hours away. Any recommendations?

Look up parts and fix it yourself or get a friend tat can. A&E repair looked at mine, told me a lie about the drum being warped. Gave me a coupon towards a new dryer. Wouldn't take my discount coupon for the labor.
I bought a bearing kit, which is a plastic drum support that's fairly cheap. Replaced it and it still works about 8 years later.

Sounds like it needs a maintence kit. Can't say what a shop will charge. But for whirlpool and Samsung. 4 bearings, pulley and belt are usually less than $20.
I dont have contacts in br anymore sadly.

Thanks, I’m sure the maintenance kit would do it but I’m just not able to get there to spend half day dicking around with it.
Edited to say it’s an GE brand

Oh GE. Then the kit is more. Needs new slide brarings and slides and felt. Still a kit but double the cost of the others.

I hate dealing with appliances but when we had dryer issues, the drum stopped turning, I took it apart and found the issue. Watched a YouTube video on replacing the belt and she's been fine for over a year now.

There’s a guy out of Denham Springs that I used a few times and he was great. Wish I had his contact info still but I may have found him on here or maybe it was Bayou Bucks.
I’ll get my Tapatalk account and see if I have a PM from him.
All my old PM’s are gone

Thanks for trying... I'm just a little hesitant to call any weirdo with a tool belt to go inside my daughters' townhouse to fix a dryer.
I know it would more than likely be a fairly simple fix as Napoleon says, I also know there are countless examples of me making the trek there to perform a simple fix and it ends up turning into an all day cluster with 7 trips to Lowes 20 mins away and me getting home after midnight because it's a simple fix.
I spent this past weekend painting a bedroom, assembling new furniture, swapping a garbage disposal, swapping a ceiling fan and basically busting my arse only to get home last night about 11:25. I will be out of town with my wife's aunt that has Alzheimer's next weekend and have an event in town that I can't miss the following. I'd rather not force them to listen to a dryer that sounds like a honey badger trying to frick a goose for 3 or 4 weeks in the mean time.

Screw you too, buddy.
I'm not a maintenance man but I fix all of my appliances. I can't help with finding someone but Ideal Appliances on Florida has had every replacement part I've needed with the exception of a module for the control board on my brother's range.

I got fed up and found a used dryer that I’ll take off of work to go deliver and install later this week.
