He's great during interviews with left wing female reporters from NBC, CNN, etc. He quickly gives them 5 reasons why they're wrong and they don't know how to respond.

That's because he pre-memorizes punch lines. He about as smart as a Cuban gets. Met him in Tallhassee a good 15 years ago, didn't think he was genuine or gave AF about any issues even then.
What is known is he was a little poster child of young "latino congressman" working it for MIC and in AIPAC's pocket even in 2012-13. In 2016 he ran as an establishment option when Jeb! imploded.

No. CNN doesn't give him questions in advance. It's all extemporaneous responses and the style is totally extemp.
