CFB is following the lead of 1886 Yale with scheduling, Conference champ games and more pointless re-matches in the Playoffs.
Yale opened their year defeating Wesleyan 75-0.
To be sure, they played Wesleyan again 3 days later beat them only 62-0.
Voters weren't sure...so Yale played Wesleyan again 3 weeks later and beat them 136-0. 75+62 = 137. CFB began with absurdity, will end with absurdity.
