I haven’t heard any mention of the fact that D Williams signed with Arizona and days later jumped in the portal to follow his coach Jedd Fisch from Arizona to Washington.

Its completely hypocritical. The main argument of nil started because coaches had freedom of movement and players didn’t.

Jedd Fisch signed a contract with Arizona but didn’t stop him from taking the job at Washington.

I think Williams has every right to take the best offer and continue his career where he and his family see the best value for him personally.

The Supreme Court literally said as much.

Is this true? I didnt know he had signed something with Arizona before leaving for Washington too.

I guess the difference here is there is some generic contract that the players are signing for all B10 schools with language saying that you can’t do this.

It is true. He signed with Arizona out of highschool in class of 24 The jumped in the portal right after signing day to follow Jedd Fisch to Washington.

I guess it's a good thing we aren't in the Big 10.

I probably will also prevent Oregon from going after him.

Because it’s a completely different situation and you know that.

Lol no it wasn’t. NIL has to do with players making money, not the freedom of movement.

He paid a buyout. Probably what Washington is wanting as well.

I agree but on the move from Arizona to Washington, a legal portal window opened for him when his coach left.

Really hope he stays at UW. I trust Lane but Leavitt is so much better than this kid.

He’s not playing for Washington. They eliminated that. You aren’t going to sue a player into staying, lol. He may or may not owe them money, but they absolutely can’t stop him from playing wherever he wants. The money he might owe has zero impact on playing for LSU.

Thanks. That’s like exactly what I said.
