I was low key excited when we signed him out of HS last year.
Honestly didn't realize he was hurt but should have figured because he wasn't really mentioned all year even when we had multiple injuries to our LB room.
I know everyone loved to shite on his brother because he chose the Gumps over us, but the fact is he was a phenomenal LB for the Tide and an athletic freak show.
I'm very excited for the future of this team and keeping basically the entire defensive coaching staff intact sans Williams is only going to help.
I know Whit is locked into a starting spot but excited to see some of the younger more athletic LB's (Moses & Ross) get PT this upcoming year.

He should get a lot of pt at the star position. I’m excited to see what he does as well

Is he fast enough for coverage that's needed in that star role?

I hope he isn't a stiff Tarzan like his brother, the pile jumper

I really hope we sign another big time LB next to Weeks and don't let that opportunity rot. Keys and Singleton are not ready as we saw in the bowl game. Good potential but not there yet. We need someone to go alongside Weeks to take advantage of everything. As sure as it gets. I've seen no movement so far in portal here. I think it would be a mistake.

Opened this up thinking you were gonna say he was entering the portal

6'1 212 out of hs
6'1 225 redshirt year
Rs fr- don't think you want you want him more then 6'1 230 and losing that elite lb speed. Should be perfect size and speed in his 2nd year

Didn't realize he had gotten this big!
I'm also low-key excited about our new S&C coach.
That was one of the most disappointing things imo about CBK's tenure.
It just seemed like we got beat physically on both sides of the ball.
I am not used to seeing that as an LSU fan.
Even the Les Miles teams were awesome at the point of attack and up front.
