Boomer Facebook video aside, yeah, these people are ok with casually talking about taking over the country at this point.
I remember 10 years ago arguing with shel that the media has a pretty obvious left leaning bias. He and many others back then would argue until blue in the face that there was no such thing.
Now look where we are.

I think this very sentiment is MUCH more prevalent than the left thinks. If I’m wrong, this country is probably doomed.

That definitely seems to be the rule, in general.
It's the Yellowstone phenomenon. But it's been that way for awhile tbh.
Two of my best friends are redneck black men and they don't gaf about the thug lifestyle. One of them actually lives in Dallas ... was born and raised in West Texas.

I know of 4 such people. When they dont have hard hats on they have cowboy hats and they very much have their shite together.

The Boomer comment was unnecessary. I don't do FB except once in a blue moon to keep up with my old PIR Regiment buddies. Maybe twice a year.
I shared that video off of X because Elon Musk and James Woods shared it ... so it popped into my timeline.
I wouldn't know how to recognize a "Boomer video" if it bit me in the arse. I'm too busy supporting the younger generations in their fights against the commie marxists trying to take over this country today.
I just do not get the Boomer hatred. It boggles my mind. The great majority of my generation are Conservative. Yeah, we've hot some blue haired professional agitators that get all the press ... but no more, no less, than any other generation.

I had no concept of this five years ago. And then it started showing up here in curt, sarcastic posts. I believe it is a real thing. And they will get old one day and die of cancer or Parkinson's or cirrhosis of the liver.

Life goes by fast.
We just never imagined, never considered, blaming an older generation for anything. It never crossed our minds. We recognized that the Greatest Generation had some commies mixed in, and the Silent Generation had their share of useful idiots like Abby Hoffman, Jane and Peter Fonda, et al ... but we NEVER thought to paint the entire generation with a wide brush. It was literally unimaginable.
And we don't do it with younger generations.
Absolutism is always the wrong hill to die on.

calling it a Boomer video is because that's who the target audience is - conservative Boomers who sit around on facebook all day rage watching videos like this. and i'm not knocking that, my dad is a pro at it. i'd much rather have a bunch of Boomers rage watching and sharing videos like this and voting conservative than the alternative. but that's why he called it a Boomer video.

"Rage watching FB videos" is not a thing. It's something y'all imagine in your own heads.
Most of the guys I know hate FB and Zuckerberg. A lot of them refuse to use it. The ones that do, do so to post pics of our grandkids or to see pics of from our unit brothers.
Do we meet at coffee houses, with our dogs, every morning after our walks? Yes we do ... which is why you rarely see me around here before noon.
Do we keep up with the news and the stock market? Absolutely. Because we're situationally aware of the world around us.
Do we talk about wars and guns and dogs and fine assed women with big tits and long legs and skinny ankles, ftf or on the phone .... hell yes, all the time.
Do we talk about rehabbing from knee replacement surgery or open heart surgery or those fighting various cancers ... we do.
But this FB rage watching of videos - I don't see it ... I need to have a talk with your Dad. PM me his number, I'll motivate him to get away from FB. He's probably a good man who needs more interaction with his Son.
