Underwood was committed to a team for over a year, then switched to another team for a bag. I believe Lane will have Easton decommit from Texas & commit to the Tigers before Signing Day next year, by any means necessary.
The talent in this state is one of the main reasons why Lane came here. He's not letting the cream of the crop get stolen from here, in Lane's first full recruiting cycle, especially offensive weapons that he wants.

meh. stud WRs grow on trees down here and Lane has no problem finding diamonds in the rough. We should avoid bidding wars or overpaying in most cases.

A dime a dozen? Like we had this past year?Even Lane has said get the best players from the the high school ranks n then fill your holes thru the portal. A possible top local high school player in the country.Lane has proven he can win thru the portal but only because he had to

Thats true... but we're in a "Microwave" era of CFB. Coaches keep seeking portal guys to plug into the top of the depth charts. The days of homegrown elite LSU WRs may be over.

I wasnt saying give him Underwood money but as a top WR that also is a local one you push hard for him providing he isn't bent on going out OOS
