Davis says he plans to play 2026

I think this is good news, and hope the Saints can make a decently team friendly deal to keep Davis (and Cam) around for one last year.
The defense is playing great and think each has shown enough production to want around for a turn it around season in 2026.

For a team that is going to continue bringing in young players on defense, having Davis and Cam around would be a pretty good thing. Two great players who are also great people.

if you would have asked me before the season if i wanted 2025 to be Davis and Jordan's last year, b/c of age, i would have said yes...
but seeing how they are still playing at a high enough level to allow us to address some of the other areas that need to be addressed, vs. having to find their replacements right now

With the way Demario takes care of himself he’s got 2-3 more years of good production. He’s a legend he can stay as long as he wants.
