Cassidy Hutchinson had the courage to do what so many others around her have refused to do — to freely and openly tell the truth.
Will others now have the courage to follow her lead?

2023. Super serious journalist Jake Tapper asks serial liar Cassidy Hutchinson if she thinks that her testimony is going to send Trump to prison. ??
Shockingly, Jake didn't see any red flags while interviewing her.

Smith told the House Judiciary Committee in a closed-door deposition on Dec. 17 that Hutchinson — who testified at the Jan. 6 select panel’s made-for-TV hearings in June 2022 — “certainly” wouldn’t have made a “powerful” witness because she couldn’t provide “firsthand” testimony.
“My recollection with Ms. Hutchinson, at least one of the issues was a number of the things that she gave evidence on were secondhand hearsay, were things that she had heard from other people,” the ex-Trump prosecutor testified to the Judiciary lawmakers and staff, the deposition’s transcript shows.

That included “sensational” allegations that the 45th president lunged toward the wheel of his Secret Service SUV, known as “the Beast,” in an attempt to commandeer it from his driver as a mob of his supporters were seeking to halt the certification of the 2020 election on Capitol Hill.
“I’m the f—ing president! Take me up to the Capitol now!” Trump allegedly screamed at the Secret Service agent, according to Hutchinson’s testimony in a live-broadcasted House hearing on June 28, 2022.

I never understood them making Hutchinson's testimony a big deal. She was just reporting what she said others had told her. Those people denied saying it.
The action she described was physically impossible.
AND...so what??? If what she said were true, there was nothing wrong with it. It also showed that Trump was such a bad dictator that he couldn't even get his subordinates to follow orders.

Exactly, his own driver refused to listen to him, but Trump was allegedly so engaged ... he was willing to go back to the Capitol and into the fray and chaos?
Sounds to me like Trump was more brave than those cowering members in Congress, hiding behind their chairs.
If that's the narrative they want to paint.
Clearly the writers of this scenario didn't think it through very well.

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed but I'd like to take this opportunity to say frick Bill Cassidy.
I think I'll say it again.

The mere idea that a woman could accuse Trump of 'something' is all the thought that went into this one. Doesn't matter what, how ridiculous or flimsy the accusation. Same as the 1st ridiculous impeachment. Somebody felt shocked at something Trump allegedly did, because Presidents aren't supposed to DO those things, even though Joe Biden gleefully admitting doing exactly the same thing, so he must be impeached??
'I was stunned at the President mocking the D Day fallen!' - Never happened.
'He called Nazis 'very fine people'! - Never happened.
'He insurrected the Capitol!' - No, he didn't. Said to do the exact opposite.
These folks are delusional with their TDS.

Are you 5? Any logical person knows that hearsay isn't allowed on the stand. Idiot
Has the possibility that the person may be lying, and the others, who denied, were telling the truth?

Why let truth get in the way of a good story?

Can't wait for all of the "the Somali fraud YouTuber is a liar!! We can't trust anything that came out of that!!!" Concern trolls to come into this thread with those same overwhelming concerns about Jake Tapper, Et al.
Annnnnny minute now. Annnnnny second...
