Anytime someone shines real light on the extreme left, they mobilize one of their factions to take retribution.
For Charlie, it was one of their trans lunatics they created over the last 10 years. For Shirley, it will probably be some psycho pro somali/pro palestine militant they have created and egged on if they try something.
The left has no shortage of "marginalized people" to mobilize against decent folk when their apple car gets turned over and their rotten fruit is spilled into the street.

- why is the Left so violent?
- why do they want to silence any view that doesn’t match their own?

They've been slowly conditioned to believe that they are righteous and we are evil, and thus violence is OK if used against us. One of the main reasons we're seeing them tick up the violence is that there hasn't been the 'equal and opposite' violence coming back at them.
Liberals have a violence thermostat. They constantly are bumping the heat up further. Every tick up is the new baseline and it takes more spectacular violence to stand out. It's virtue signaling for psychopaths.
The right has a switch. Once that switch gets flipped, it's going to be more horrible violence than they can actually understand. They don't have a frame of reference. They've never seen war. At this point, I think they're going to. They don't have a way to reverse out of this that I can see.
