Had a good friend and his family who live in Houston go w me to the LSU vs UofH football game. Their 1st ever bowl football game live! As an LSU fan I was just hoping they would compete well and somehow figure out how to win another close game this season. With nothing but pride on the line for LSU they brought their A game (IMHO). The game literally went down to the last meaningful play w 1 minute left (onside kick) AND we had 2 chances (both receivers) to recover the ball! After watching replay on TV earlier this New Year's Eve I got to thinking - when have I seen a more competitive game in the last 4-5 years? I recall LSU vs ALA in 2022 that was at home and in the middle of the season which was an electric atmosphere. The game against UofH had opt outs galore for LSU and it was basically a home game for Houston. Despite all that this game will probably end up being best non-playoff bowl game in 2025. Good job Tigers. Way to represent! Hopefully w better players and coaching in 2026 we can win more of these close games.

LSU vs ALA in 2022

I agree that was the last time I genuinely had fun from start to finish in Tiger Stadium. Ole Miss in 2024 was really fun too, but we were down until the end to go into overtime. Still a very fun game.

I didn't have fun AT ALL this year.

LSU v Bama 2022 was an incredible night. Everyone’s feeling going in was just hope we can keep this close. Then you get an opening drive INT in the endzone and a few other weird plays to keep Bama off the board and it just had the feelings of a classic.

LSU vs Houston was a fun game. I loved the start of the game and the last LSU drive to come within three. I don't know why LSU couldn't recover the onside kick. And MVB actually played a decent game at NRG
